16U HRYS Glory 2010 VA State Babe Ruth Champions |
HRYS Glory 16U - VA Babe Ruth Champions 2010 The Glory went 3-0 to win the State Championship. Thursday July 8th Glory beat Glen Allen (last year's Champions) 11-0 under the hot, hot sun! Friday July 9th, Glory beat Shenandoah 5-2. Saturday, July 10, the Glory played Shenandoah again for the Championship. The weather had cooled down, but the play on the field was intense. The game went into extra innings after being tied 1-1 at the bottom on the 7th. Glory scored 4 runs in the top of the 8th! and then held Shenandoah to win! 16U Glory is now headed to the Babe Ruth World Series August 5th-11th in Richmond. |
