GENERAL SKILLS CLINICS
For all New and Returning Players Ages 6-18 years old as of January 1st 2012.
Grades K - 6th 4:00 PM -5:30 PM
Grades 7-12 6:30 PM- 8:00 PM
General Skills Clinics will be lead by South Lakes Softball Coaches and assisted by HRYS
coaching staff.
Location: South Lakes High School Main Gym, Reston, VA

Cost:
To help defer the cost of the gym for these clinics the league will be charging fees as
follows:
$12/session online
$100 online for all 11 sessions
$15/session at the door.

Skills Clinic, Grades 1 - 6, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Be there time is 3:50 PM to check-in and stretch! Players will be broken out based on age
and skills.
Clinics will be skills focused and teach players the concepts of playing competitive spring
ball: fielding, quick throws, base stealing, sliding, bunting for effectiveness, and hitting. For
younger players we will also include some game based activities to ensure fun while
learning the game. For older players these sessions will be quick and hard practice. Be
prepared to sweat and practice hard.
Skills Clinic, Grades 7-12, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Be there time is 6:20 PM to check-in and stretch! Clinics will be skills focused and teach
players the concepts of playing competitive spring ball: fielding, quick throws, base
stealing, sliding, bunting for effectiveness, and hitting. Great warm up for the high school
season! Be prepared to sweat and practice hard.

CATCHERS and PITCHERS Clinics
For all new or continuing players, keep your arm ready for spring! This is a great time of
year to learn how to pitch or be a catcher!
