The greatest gift that an adult can share with a child is the gift of time.
Please register to volunteer your time to support Herndon Reston Youth
Softball. No previous experience in any sport is required. Just come
with a willingness to learn, or a willingness to share your tim, to help
administer our league as we develop really great girl softball players and
athletes. Select from any of the following positions or suggest your own:
Manager, Coach, Asst Coaches,U10 umpires, Field Maintenance,
Board Member,Spirit Wear Sales, Sponsorship Solicitations,
Photographer, Equipment Manager, Publicity

PUBLICITY and SCHOOL CONTACT
HELP NEEDED
Our league continues to grow and we have some exciting ideas for our
league. However, we need more help both in planning how to achieve
those ideas as well executing them when it's time.

One area in particular where we need assistance is publicity. We
specifically need one highly organized person to help us keep track of all
of the different rules for each elementary school in the area. Some have
Tuesday folders, other don't. Some have PTAs that distribute electronic
newsletters we could utilize, others don't. Some won't let us advertize in
the Spring unless we get clearance in the Fall. We need just one person
to be the collection point of all this information to store in a spreadsheet
of some kind and then help us make the most of each avenue open to
us.

In addition to that one person, we then need people willing to be the
Point Of Contact for area schools. Some schools are very
under-represented in our league, and we need an advocate working with
each school to help get the word out about our program. This works
best when you have a child attending the school.

The time commitment for either of these job is minimal but invaluable. If
