2010 HRYS College Showcase Glory This program is designed for high school Junior and Senior softball players in the HRYS league and the surrounding communities who wish to participate in softball college showcase tournaments and who are interested in exposure to college and university softball programs and coaches during their last two years of high school. Participation is based upon a successful try-out. For more information about try-outs contact ShowcaseGlory@HRYSfastpitch.com The goal of this exciting program is to support a player's desire to compete in softball after her high school career is completed. Players will be exposed to colleges offering scholarship programs as well as schools that offer players a chance to compete at the collegiate level as a walk-on (non-scholarship). Players on Showcase Glory will focus not only on developing their individual playing skills but also on working as part of a team. Experience has taught us that collegiate coaches are as interested in a player's individual skills as well as her team attitude. Softball player's skills can be developed with good coaching, while a player's positive attitude, work ethic, and sense of team comes from her passion for the game. Showcase Glory is for players who have this passion! |

Commitment Participation in the Showcase Glory program requires additional commitments on the part of the coaches, players, and parents. Players, and parents, need to make sure that their time management skills are sharpened to ensure that they can successfully participate in this program.
